The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential benefit available to eligible employees and their dependents. It provides professional support, counseling and referrals to help with personal, family, financial and work-life challenges.

The district's EAP is administered by TELUS Health through National Insurance Services (NIS). TELUS Health has more than 40 years of experience providing employee assistance services.

Yes. Information shared through the EAP is kept confidential in accordance with applicable federal and state laws. Using the EAP will not affect your employment.

The EAP provides up to three in-person assessment and counseling sessions with a master's-level counselor at no cost. If additional counseling is needed, the counselor can help connect you with community resources or your health insurance benefits.

Yes. Life insurance beneficiaries can receive assistance with funeral and memorial planning, including identifying service providers, estimating costs and coordinating logistics.
